Methodology

How the archive works

The Anti Index separates source material, fact-checking and commentary. The goal is to preserve what was publicly said, make changes visible, and label interpretation clearly.

Source material

The original record comes first.

Public sources

Livestreams, public posts and public live-chat messages are recorded with their source URL, creator and observed date where available. Where YouTube only supplies a relative age such as “1 year ago”, the site records that wording rather than inventing an exact publication date.

Preservation history

For monitored YouTube streams, first-seen metadata is retained and compared against later checks. If a previously observed source becomes unavailable, the archive reports that it is no longer publicly available unless a more specific reason can be verified.

Live Chat Archive

Automated live-chat capture began on 15 October 2026. Older livestreams may still have chat replay on YouTube without being present in this archive. Viewer display names appear only with the message record; The Anti Index does not create viewer profile pages.

Review

Claims are not conclusions.

SOURCE

What was said

Quoted or summarised source material should be linked to the original record and, where possible, an exact timestamp.

FACT CHECK

What can be verified

Legal and factual claims should be checked against legislation, court decisions, official records or other reliable evidence before publication.

COMMENTARY

What we think it means

Editorial interpretation remains clearly labelled as commentary rather than presented as neutral fact.

Corrections & submissions

Evidence can change the record.

Factual corrections supported by evidence are welcomed. Registered users can submit public social-media or Community posts for review, including material that may later have been deleted. Contributor attribution is private by default and public credit is opt-in.
